David understands the importance of thinking long-term and seeing the big picture rather than providing quotes at over inflated prices for short-term gain.

David arranged regular meetings with us to discuss the progress of the job and was most helpful where we requested minor amendments to the plans. David took great pride in the quality of the work performed at our house and we were most appreciative of his attention to detail.

We both know that building a new home, especially on the size of this, can be very stressful for everyone concerned. In this case I have to say that I enjoyed every moment of the project and I think that is largely due to the open communication that we had throughout.

We have three children and lived through 3 months of renovations, which thanks to David and his team was very easy. The tradesmen were always punctual, considerate and trustworthy and the workplace was always left clean and tidy. We have had many compliments on David's workmanship and have already been approached and been happy to refer David on to others.

When considering a builder for such a huge project, we had to ask ourselves, could we spend the next 10 months working closely with this guy, putting everything we've got on the line (and also some of what the banks has)? How do we know if he's the right one for us? In the end, it wasn't that difficult. Our project involved demolishing an existing house, extensive excavation and building an architecturally challenging residence from the ground up. Add to this painters, landscapers and poolbuilders, who we had assigned separately, and the project could have potentially become a site nightmare. Not on Dave's watch! Everyone worked in harmony. He diplomatically resolved any issues that arose, even though it wasn’t in his contract to do so. The man is driven by pride. Now that our house is complete, we can honestly say that the experience, whilst stressful at times, was made easier knowing that Dave was only a phone call away. If we had any concerns, we just rang the big guy: problem solved! Dave didn't just meet our expectations, he surpassed them. Apart from being an exceptional builder, he is a sincere and honest person with an infectious laugh. He has become a good mate and we are proud to know him.
